Read-only memory (ROM)
A permanent type of memory storage used by the computer for important data that doesn't change.
Random access memory (RAM)
Used to temporarily store information with which the computer is currently working.

A device, such as a printer, video display, or speaker, that presents data from a computer to a user.
Nonimpact printers
A printer that creates images without mechanically impacting the page, as an ink-jet or laser printer.
